Hello! Iām Sharron, welcome to Doodle Dialogue.
I have lived in Devon for twenty years now and spent most of that time working in a local primary school and with high school teens.
I have first hand experience of supporting Special Needs children, and personal experience with Autism, Auditory Processing Disorder, mental health issues, depression ADHD and even self harming. I work closely with children struggling with their mental health, anxiety, bereavement and bullying. I do however have a particular interest with Autism in girls.
My ethos is that art and creative activities can play an important role in unlocking emotions, empowering self esteem and promoting the development of long term strategies.
Art and the qualities it can offer has been a passion of mine for a long time. When my daughter started showing signs of distress and struggling to cope in school I found the services limited, expensive and waiting lists too long. It was this struggle to get help and support that Doodle Dialogue came to fruition.
